KPI Groups
You can organize KPIs into groups on the CrystalBridge® Monitoring main screen to facilitate the navigation. You can assign KPIs to a predefined group or to your own custom KPI group.
A KPI can be also assigned to several groups. The assignment of KPIs to groups is visible on the main screen under KPI groups.
Proceed as follows to create a KPI group:

Start transaction /DVD/MON and click Settings > Monitoring settings. Alternatively, you can start transaction /DVD/MON_CUST.

Double-click KPI groups.

Click New Entries to add a new group.

Fill out the following fields and click Save:

KPI group: Specifies the name of the KPI group.
NOTE You can only create or modify KPI groups that start with Y* or Z*. The default KPI groups cannot be changed or added. -

KPI group description: Specifies the description of the group. This description will appear on the main screen in KPI groups.

KPI parent group: Specifies the KPI parent group. KPI groups are displayed as folders. Parent groups allow you to set the position and arrange groups into hierarchies.

Position: Specifies the order of the KPI group in the parent group or in the tree KPI groups on the main screen.

Changed by: Displays the last user who changed the KPI group.

Changed at: Displays the time of the last change.

Created by: Displays the user who created the KPI group.

Created at: Displays the time of the creation.
Proceed as follows to display and edit KPI groups:

Activate edit mode.

Select one of the KPI groups and change the desired fields.
NOTE You can only create or modify custom KPI groups that start with Y* or Z*.
Proceed as follows to assign KPIs to a KPI group:
Option 1:

Select the KPI group under KPI groups and double-click List of KPIs.

Click New Entries and add your KPIs:

KPI name: Enter the name of the KPI you want to assign to a group. You can use the search help by pressing F4.

KPI position: Enter the KPI position within the KPI group.

Click Save.
Option 2:

Select the KPI under KPI definitions and double-click Assigned groups.

Click New Entries and add your KPI group:

KPI group: Enter the name of the KPI group you want to assign to your KPI. You can use the search help by pressing F4.

KPI position: Enter the KPI position within the KPI group.

Click Save.
The KPIs are now assigned to a KPI group.
Your KPI group assignments are visible under KPI groups on the CrystalBridge® Monitoring main screen.
If the KPIs are not visible, check the display settings of the KPI groups tree by clicking Settings > User settings in the menu bar. For example, to display KPIs that are not monitored (the collector job was not executed), deselect the options Hide unused KPI from KPI groups and Hide unused KPI groups.
